STARS PAY TRIBUTE TO MIKE THALASSITIS THREE YEARS AFTER HIS DEATH

Love Island stars have paid tribute to the 26-year-old who tragically took his own life three years ago.
Mike rose to fame in 2017 after his memorable appearance on the reality TV show, Love Island. His body was found in a park in Edmonton, London on March 16th 2019 due to the large consumption of cocaine and alcohol.
Many of his Love Island assemble attended his funeral, including presenter Caroline Flack, who sadly also took her own life in February 2020.

Montana Brown, a former contestant on Love Island was one of the many celebrities paying tribute to Mike, sharing a photo of them together. She wrote: “Three years ago today, can’t believe it. What a gentle and sweet man left us far too soon.”
Marcel Somerville also shared a photo of him and Mike attending a festival captioning the photo: “Always remembered my brother!”.
Mike was described by many of his co-stars as “gentle and kind”.
Fans also took to social media to share their love for the former reality star.
One fan wrote: “How has it been three years already? Your sorely missed, Mike.”
His death triggered calls for an improvement in the aftercare of people involved in reality shows.
