I’M A CELEBRITY JETS OFF BACK TO THE JUNGLE


I’m A Celebrity has released its return to the Australian jungle after two years in the windy Welsh Countryside.

Covid restrictions prevented the cast and crew from travelling to New South Wales, Australia and instead relocated to Gwrych Castle in Wales in 2020.


As lockdown restrictions begin to ease, presenters of the show Ant and Dec revealed there are hopes to film the much-loved reality show in sunny Australia once again.


Ant McPartlin, when questioned by Alex Jones on The One Show that: “We love Wales but you know, Australia is its home and we’d like to get back there if we can.”


Declan Donnelly added: “That’s what we’re hoping touch wood.”


The shows’ popularity continued through the pandemic despite its change in location but viewers have been urging for the show’s return to Australia.


According to The Mirror, the director of content at ITV Rosemary Newell stated: “We expect I’m A Celebrity to return in Australia in November, when it will generate audience over 11 million.”


Fans have swarmed Twitter with one fan saying: “Amazing! Can’t wait.”


Another added: “YESSS!! This is what we like to hear.”
