Officers believe the man had fled the UK back in 2020 in an attempt to evade police detection.

Detective Inspector Rick Castley of GMP Serious Organised Crime Group said: "Our crackdown knows no borders and let this be a warning that we will continue to pursue and arrest those believed to be involved in drug supply on our streets.

"In this instance, we worked collaboratively with the Spanish authorities, National Crime Agency, and The Crown Prosecution Service, and we will continue liaising closely with them to catch any and all fugitives who believe they are above the law. With our international partners, we all share the same goal of ridding these people from our streets and we will do all that we can to achieve this.”
