It didn’t take them too long to find a second as just before half time, it became 2-0 an impressive first goal from Mariona Caldentey. Coming out to the second half, Arsenal still had the edge over Häcken , looking even stronger and
creating more chances than in the first half. Their 3 rd goal came from Beth Mead, who volleyed the ball into the back of the net after Katie McCabe headed the ball her way. The England and Arsenal star is back on her top form, making a difference in Arsenal’s recent games.
Unstoppable, Arsenal’s 4 th goal came from substitute Frida Maanum, which was a beautiful strike after Kyra Cooney cross made a run through the midfield, who then passed to Caitlin Ford and to Maanum and fired into the back of the net. Throughout the rest of the game, Arsenal managed to create many more chances, but none made it to the back of the net, while Häcken didn’t receive too many. The game finished 4-0, meaning Arsenal qualified for the Champions League along with their WSL rivals Man City after their phenomenal win over Paris FC 8-0 on aggregate.
